My Wonderful Publix Experience

There are no words to describe how mad I am right now.
An older man comes up to my window while I'm sitting in my car at Publix and very RUDELY says,
"I can't get into my car...you are parked too close to me."
Clearly, he is parked on the LINE of his parking spot...and I am perfectly in the middle of mine. I wanted to say, "are you blind?" but I refrained from being rude. So, I say,
"Sir, I am parked in the center of my space. You really don't have to be rude."
He then proceeds to say this to me...
"Well you are dumb."Me: "Excuse me?"
Him: "You are stupid."

By this point, I am so mad that I roll up my window and move my car over on the line of my space just so I don't have to listen to him anymore. He then waits for me to move over, and as he is getting into his car, I roll my window down and say, "YOU are in your space CROOKED, not ME," and he continues to curse at me as he pulls away.
Seriously? Who deserves to be spoken to that way? I am not dumb, nor am I stupid. Oh, and did I mention that this man I speak of is a client of where I work? And, he's always been a jerk? I don't know if he recognized me or not, but I have a feeling the next time I see him...it's going to be interesting.

Yeah...I've had a wonderful day.

Wee Bit Wednesday

{one} do you collect anything? if so, what and how long have you been collecting? 

No, not really. Unless shoes count...haha. I am an accessories girl, but hate shopping. Weird, I know. But anyway, my closet is FULL of shoes and I can't seem to part with any of them.

{two} what is one cleaning tip that you swear by? 

I don't really have any special cleaning tips for you today. Sorry!

{three} who would you call for bail money? 

My dad. I can count on him for anything.

{four} what is one thing you miss about being a kid? 

No responsibility. Reliance on others. That was nice. Haha.

{five} name a few of your guilty pleasures. 

Starbucks. In fact, I'm here now...at Starbucks, that is. Ian and I spend wayyyyy too much money here. Bad habit.

{six} how early do you start your holiday shopping? 

Not early. Haha.

{seven} what is a family tradition that you would like to pass on to your significant other/children? 

Listening to the 'NSYNC Christmas cd while decorating the tree! Haha. Not that my kids will like that cd. But I love it!

{eight} what do you consider your greatest achievement? 

Graduating from college, getting married, and becoming a home owner!

{nine} what do you do to pamper yourself? 

I splurge on my hair. It's such a treat to me! Change is a good thing.

{ten} if you were to start your own restaurant, what would it be called? 

No idea. I'd have to think on that one.

Miscellany Monday!

1. New best friends. Saturday when I got off work, my mom and grandmother took me shopping to spend some early birthday money. I got some real cute stuff...but my favorite purchase of the day were these amazing cowboy boots! I have been wanting some nice ones for awhile now, and couldn't resist them! I had it narrowed down to two pair and of course, since I'm the most indecisive person in the world, I couldn't decided and had to call my friend Terri for advice after sending her a couple pictures. I'm so glad I went with these! They are my new best friends. Oh, and those are my new "jeggings" too by the way. :)

2. Baby it's cold outside! Finally! I cannot express how glad I am that the weather has finally cooled off! I'm so excited about long sleeve shirts, jackets, and scarves!

3. I. love. cupcakes. How can you not love cupcakes? They are just plain cute. Someone brought us these adorable miniature cupcakes at work the other day, and I couldn't help but snap a few pictures of them. Oh, and they were yummy too! :)

4. I love Hipstamatic for iPhone. I know I've probably mentioned this before, but I really do. It's definitely one of my favorite photography apps for the iPhone. Here are a couple of recent shots:

Fill in the Blank Friday

 This week's Fill in the Blank Friday is all about hair! Don't forget to link up at the end!

1.   My last haircut was  _ A couple of weeks ago. I feel like it needs to be trimmed again though  .

2.  My most daring hair moment was       when I got bangs for the first time. Now when I say for the first time, I am talking about a few months ago...not when I was in middle school and had the feathery bang look. Haha   .

3.  A hairstyle I'd never be brave enough to try is       a red color all over. I think red hair is gorgeous but it could never be pulled off with my skin tone   .

4.  I've always dreamt of being a (blonde, brunette or red-head)   red head. Ahhh I wish so bad that I could pull it off   !

5.  My go-to hair do is  __to straighten it daily. Every now and then, I will curl it...but straight is just easier  !

6.  My biggest hair disaster was      the time I dyed my hair dark out of a box. My hair dresser was so mad at me. My roots were orange...and I looked like a ghost. Ugh_ .

7.  A hairstyle I am dying to try is   __where you braid the front of your hair down the side. I can't do it...haha  .

8.  My best hair day was  ___Oh my goodness I have no idea   .

9.  The worst hairstyle I ever had was   in Junior High. I was in the "chunky" highlight and lowlight look, and I left the hair salon looking like a dang skunk. It was terrible   .

10.  My hair is  ____for the most part easy to deal with, but I just hate fixing it, but I won't leave the house without fixing it so, haha. Also, I have had my hair so many different styles it's ridiculous. Enjoy some of the pictures   !

Halloween Housewarming Partayyy!

This past Friday, my sweet friends Kate (& Brett)and Laura (& Jeffery) threw Ian and I a Halloween Housewarming Party. It was so much fun! We ate some of the yummiest food I've had in awhile, had a pumpkin carving contest, some great fellowship, and loads of fun! Here are some pictures from the night.

The pigs in the blankets are called "Mummy Rolls," the green stuff you see is cheese dip, and it was called "Slime," the chips were called "Bat Wings," and the salsa was called "Buhlud." Haha! You have to say it just like that too... :)

The food was UH-mazing!

I don't cook. But...I did actually find a recipe for these "Pizza Puffs" on a blog, of which I cannot remember the name of now. They turned out to be so good!

Then, there was some serious pumpkin carving. :)

And here are the finished pumpkins! They all turned out to be so cute! I didn't carve one...but I really enjoyed watching as others carved their's. :)

{ten} would you ever go skydiving (or have you been)?I don't think I could do it. Toooooo scary for me.

Miscellany Monday!

Today has been crazzzzzzzy...so this Miscellany Monday is going to be short and sweet! Here it goes!

1.  Friend. This past week I met with my sweet friend Brooke to work on some blog design...and have some delicious Starbucks coffee! We had a great time, and are meeting again this coming Wednesday. She is an unbelievable blogger and has an amazing testimony. Check out her blog here.

2. Halloween housewarming. Friday night, my sweet friends Laura and Kate threw Ian and I a housewarming party. A Halloween housewarming party that is. It was a blast. We had such a great turnout and carved pumpkins. I will post pictures in a couple days. Oh and our friend Terri gave us this adorable sign:

 

3.  Crazy day. Today has been a crazy day at work. The end.
