6.  My dirty little secret is __that I use dirty shampoo every other day. And it's the best thing in the world   .

::Inspiration Workshop Week 9 - Beach::

Gussy's prompt this week is BEACH!
Lucky for me, I just got home from the beach on Monday...so I have plenty of pictures. :)
One of my most favorite things about the beach are the palm trees. I mean, seriously, what is the beach without the palm trees, huh? :)

Also, I love the seagulls. I love that they come so close to you...except for when they want nothing but food if you have it. Haha.

One thing that I don't like too much about the beach, is the heat. I hate being hot. But I don't mind getting a little sweaty if it means I get to go to the beach. :)

Vacation!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let y'all know that I will be out of town for the next few days...on the beach! So excited to have one last little vacay with my hubby before he has to go back to teaching in August. I hope to have plenty of pictures when we get back! Have a great week/weekend!

::Inspiration Workshop Week 7 - Sunshine::

Gussy's prompt this week for the Inspiration Workshop is Sunshine. :)

 When I think of sunshine, plenty of things come to mind...but my favorite, is that Ian calls me his sunshine. He has been calling me his sunshine since very early in our relationship...and he sings the song "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..." all the time! He is so sweet. I have found several different prints on Pinterest displaying the cute little song, but I can't decide on just one!

3 Year Anniversary!

Yesterday was mine and Ian's three year anniversary! How crazy is that? It is so amazing to me how fast time goes by. "So what did we do for our anniversary?" you might ask. After I got off work, I went home to change, and found this lovely little setup...

How cute is that? Haha. He's pretty creative right? (eeek...Brooke, we need to get that frame back to you, ha) Anyway, I got ready, then we went to Olive Garden for dinner, which was super yummy. When we got home, we did absolutely nothing but chill, since we don't get to do that very often.

Oh, and the pups chilled too. :)

Right after we got in bed, I found an anniversary card under my pillow (which caught me off guard), and I do believe it was the sweetest card he's ever gotten/written in for me.
We had an amazing anniversary, and I can't wait to see what the next few years has for us!

1.   My plans this summer include   working, haha, and hanging out with friends and family when I get the chance  .

2.  The best summer I ever had was    probably our first summer being married__.

3.  Summer is     hot  .

4.  My favorite summer food is   probably watermelon. There is nothing like cutting a nice, red watermelon out by the pool in the summertime_ .

5.  The best way to quench a summer thirst is with     a big ole glass of ice water, or a margarita  .  :)

6.  My summer uniform consists of  __summer dresses. I hate shorts with a passion   .

7.  The best thing about summer is  __that you get to play. Well, some people get to play more than other because their jobs don't prevent them from doing everything. Ugh. Haha  .

I love pedicures. I don't get them as often as I'd like...just because I like to save that money...but it's pure heaven when I get the opportunity to! What do you do to pamper yourself? :)

1.   The best news I ever received was   _when my husband and I closed on our new home. We felt like grown ups  !

2.  Something I'm looking forward to is    having kids one day. Not yet though haha  .

3.  Something I would never do is     go skydiving. That is way too scary  .

4.  If I could choose someone to be my life coach (famous or not, living or dead), I'd choose   God_ .

5.  If I had to put a label on my style it would be    eclectic   .
