Exciting about BUILDING!

I'm not sure if many people know...but Ian and I are getting ready to build a new house! Yep, that's right! I said BUILD! As of right now, we are thinking they are going to start the building process around the middle of April. I am feeling so overwhelmed, although I don't think it's actually hit me yet. A few days ago, I posted some "inspiration" photos of some rooms with the robin's egg blue paint color, but I have actually changed my mind about that!

Yep. Remember? I am INDECISIVE. I can't stand it, but that's just me. :)

As of right now, our living room & kitchen are decorated in warm, festive colors...all of which match this beautiful Espana dinnerware we registered for when we got married:

I absolutely LOVE these colors, but my favorite color EVER is turquoise...so I wanted to find a way to incorporate the turquoise with these other colors without making it look like I just threw it in there because I liked it...haha. SO, I found another set of dinnerware at Target that I absolutely fell in love with that has all the Espana colors, with turquoise too!

I am pretty sure we are going to sell our Espana, even though I love it so much. It has NEVER been used (we have a white set of dinnerware we use on a daily basis) so if you are interested in purchasing it let me know!

Here is THE inspiration picture that just did it for me! I am in love with these colors put together, and I can't wait to see how it all turns out in the house! We are using these colors in the living room/breakfast area/kitchen (it's a very open floor plan). The walls won't be red, but you get the picture. ;)

The walls in the living room/kitchen/breakfast area will be a taupe color, probably something close to the paint color of this room:

And this is the shower curtain that will hopefully go in the guest bathroom. :)

I just love the way the colors look together!

If you know of any good interior decorating sites/blogs or have seen any pictures of these colors incorporated in a room, please share! It would be greatly appreciated!

I can't wait to get started! :)

I love the colors in that last picture, too, it reminds me of one of my inspiration clips from one of my home decor magazines. The bright red makes it adorably retro! And I LOVE retro :)

Lovely to meet you!
