1. Mobile Blogging. Today, I discovered that you can blog from your phone. Pretty cool eh? You can't do all the colorful text and stuff, unless I just haven't figured it out yet, but nonetheless, you can blog from your phone! Awesome.

Heater Fiasco
The past couple days at work...I have been freezing...and have made it well known to my boss. Well, today he got me a space heater as a birthday present since my birthday is tomorrow. Well...the heater hates me.
First, I had it plugged in under my desk so it would keep my feet warm. It was great until I went to swipe a credit card. The card machine, as well as the printer both lost power. Wonderful.
Then, I plugged it inside the closet with an extension cord, and all of the lights went out. Ha. So much for the heater.

Fill in the Blank Friday on Saturday
1. Black Friday is _crazy. It's definitely not for me. I heard it said right the other day...why is it that we are so thankful, loving on Thanksgiving, and the day after we are so greedy, mean, and inconsiderate ?
2. Christmas shopping this year will include _probably not much since we just moved into our new house not long ago haha .
3. Holiday shopping makes me __want to punch somebody. No, seriously .
4. This year my Christmas list will include __a lot of stuff that I want, but probably don't need. I already know that we are getting all ten seasons of Friends on DVD which I am totally stoked about! I also really want a new lens for my camera, but that's going to be something I buy more than likely .
5. Bargain hunter, or full price shopper? I love finding stuff on sale that I really like, but I also HATE digging for stuff .
6. The best and worst things about shopping is __finding awesome clothes and having a new confidence in yourself when wearing them...but I absolutely hate shopping because I feel like I'm no good at picking out an outfit .
7. Online shopper or in-person shopper? __I have to try something on before I buy it .

Wee Bit Wednesday
{one} what kind of camera do you have?
I have a Nikon D5000, and love it!
{two} you just won $1000 and you have to spend it on yourself on one item. what do you buy?
I would buy a new lens for my camera. Lenses make such a huge difference!
{three} if you had to choose, would you rather live with your parents in the same house forever or 5000 miles away?
I'm a family girl. I would rather live in the same house with them. They are pretty cool. :)
{four} is your christmas tree up yet?
No, we need to get one though! We can't decide between real of fake though. I love the smell of a real tree, but dread the needles all over the floor. Ha.
{five} do you bring reusable bags to the grocery store?
Nope.
{six} which would be worse: listening to the same song on replay for the rest of your life or having to eat the same meal everyday for the rest of your life?
I think it would be worse to hear the same song replay for the rest of my life. That would be awful!
{seven} name 3 things you are thankful for this season.
My family, friends, house, job. Oops! That was four. :)
{eight} do you dye/highlight your hair? if so, do you do it yourself or have it done at the salon?
I sure do...at the salon. It actually needs it now!
{nine} would you rather watch a movie at home or at the theater?
At home. I like to snuggle on the couch. :)
{ten} would you rather win $1000/week for life or $5 million all at once?
$10000 a week. Not sure why. Haha.

Miscellany Monday
1. Computer fail. My computer is sick. It's at an Apple specialist as we speak. They think it's the hard drive. That sucks. Luckily I have my blog stuff and pictures backed up, but I will most likely lose my music, etc. I'll have it back today though, so we'll see! :(
2. Dave Barnes concert. Last night, we went to the Dave Barnes concert here in our town. It was put on by a local non-profit Christian radio station called 88.5 The Truth. The concert was also a tribute to our good friend Heath Jackson who was killed a couple months ago. Ian had the privilege of playing/singing with some of Heath's good friends before Dave Barnes played, and it was awesome. We miss Heath so much...but know he is in a much better place than we are now.
3. Picture swap. Yesterday Ian, myself, my sweet friend Brooke and her husband Brandon went a little photo shoot before church. We took pictures of each other, and gave each other the disks afterward! I can't wait to show you some of the awesome shots I got of them, and post a few of us as well!
I hope you all have a fantastic week!

This is seriously the most UH-MAZING salsa I've ever had!
So easy to make too! Enjoy. :)
What you will need:
4 cans Rotel (any flavor)
1/2 onion
1 bunch cilantro
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1. In a large bowl, add 2 cans of Rotel. Drain the remaining 2 cans of Rotel and add those too.
2. Mix in sugar, garlic salt, and chili powder.
3. Chop 1/2 an onion, and 1 bunch of cilantro and add both into the salsa.
4. Serve with tortilla chips!
*If you prefer thinner salsa, pour into a blender and blend to desired texture.
If you make the salsa, let me know what you think! :)
