Miscellany Monday

1. Cute pup. Last week, I took my boss' son's dog home with me to snap a few pictures of her. She was so wild, haha, but I got several good pictures! Go check out the rest of them over at my photo blog. :)

2. Date night. Saturday night, Ian and I went to Olive Garden for a date night. If you haven't had the Lasagna Rollata I highly recommend trying it! I'm convinced it's the cheesiest thing on the menu. Unbelievable.

3. I'm exhausted today. I didn't sleep very well last night...so I'm hoping today goes by super fast so I can take a nap! Haha.

Fill in the Black Friday on Saturday

1. I am currently obsessed with any type of decor with birds, & taking pictures of cupcakes .

2. Today I am excited because, Ian and I are about to go on a no technology date to Olive Garden! Yum .

3. The age I am is 25 and the age I feel is hmm...I don't feel old, but I definitely need to work out so I feel better on a day to day basis .

4. My favorite place is my house because it's so cozy! I love curling up on the couch and watching a good movie with the hubby and my sweet pups .

5. Something I have been procrastinating is getting my Alabama driver's license. Is there a law about that? Lol .

6. The last thing I purchased was iced coffee at Starbucks .

7. The thing I love most about my home is my funky style. I call it "retro chic." :) .

Lilly & Raven Love to Play

When we first brought Raven home last weekend...she was very timid, and scared to death, probably because Lilly wasn't too sure about her at first. But I have to say, she has gotten comfortable, and her and Lilly are BFF now. It's really cute...because Lilly is somewhat protective of her now, which is really sweet. Here are some adorable pictures I got of them playing in the yard on Tuesday evening. Some of them might be a little blurry, because they were running so fast! :)

To say these two were exhausted after this little play date is an understatement!

Wee Bit Wednesday

{one} do you always wear your seatbelt in the car?I always remember to put it on when I drive, but when I ride with someone else...I forget sometimes...haha.
{two} do you crack your knuckles?Yep.
{three} what is your favorite flavor of gum?I think I like spearmint. Haha.
{four} what is your favorite piece of jewelry that you own?I have a bronzy-looking chain with a heart shaped locket on the end that I wear all the time.
{five} who is your best friend?I have a few. Y'all know who you are!
{six} what is your favorite smell?I love Ian's cologne! He wears Black Walnut by Banana Republic. Makes. Me. Melt.
{seven} what is your favorite lunch meat?Turkey or chicken breast.
{eight} do you still have your tonsils?Yep, they are HUGE. Any doctor who's ever looked in my throat has said, "whoa!"
{nine} do you untie your shoes before you take them off?Only if they are too tight.
{ten} what color is your car?White.

Miscellany on Tuesday

Since I missed Miscellany Monday, (which was totally not my fault because my Internet has been awful the past few days) I am doing it today! So much has been going on! :)
1. Only He can paint the sky. We have had the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets lately! I can't help but pull my iPhone out on the way home from work each day, because I have the most amazing view of the sun setting on my drive home. Here is a picture Ian took the other day from our backyard when he got home.

2. Nacho night. This past Thursday night, Ian and some of our friends decided to get together and have Nacho Night...and I have to say, it was awesome. We had tons of chips, my famous salsa, and all the fixins! And to top it off, my friend Kate set up a unique little dining experience for us! We got to sit on the ground, and eat on top of a door. How awesome is this?!

3. Another giveaway, won! (Gussy) I cannot tell you how excited I am to have won one of Maggie's awesome Gussy giveaways! "What did I win?" you might ask. I won Gussy's new Spring Pink headband. How cute is this? (it's the one in the middle) I can't wait to get it in the mail!

4. I love my husband. I can't say that enough. He makes me happier than anything. The other night, we had our first "no technology date night" that I think we've ever had. To say it was awesome is an understatement. It's amazing how much more conversation you can have when you decide to put away your phones, and actually speak to each other. :)

5. New addition. This past Saturday, Ian and I brought home a sweet little puppy named "Raven" (from a humane society @ PetSmart) to foster for a week, to see if we wanted to adopt her. She is the sweetest little thing. We have been debating on what breed she might be, and have decided she is a dachshund/schnauzer mix. When you see the picture, you will think, "what?" But I googled so many different breed mixes, and when I typed in this combination, a picture popped up that looked exactly like her! And there's no denying dachshund when you look at those ears! Oh and did I mention she's only 10 weeks old and weighs 5 pounds? And what about Lilly? She LOVES her. Meet Raven. :)

Fill in the Blank Friday

Oh! Hello cute dog. :)

1. I am really enjoying my day off today! Ian and I went to eat lunch with some of our friends, and we have just been relaxing! The weather is beautiful today, so are my windows open? Yes, they are . :)

2. The bravest thing I've ever done was the Slingshot in Panama City Beach, FL. Sort of like bungie jumping, but the other way around. You are sitting in a giant ball, and they slingshot you up in the air. Scary .

3. I feel prettiest when I have a tan, and I am in good shape. Haha, I am neither of those things right now .

4. Something that keeps me awake at night is __thinking about the next day and what all I have to do .

5. My favorite meal in the entire world is Mexican food. It doesn't matter what it is either. Just give me some chips, salsa, and guacamole and I'm good__.

6. The way to my heart is through acts of service. If someone does something for me that they didn't have to do, but it makes my life easier, it melts me .

7. I would like to get in the habit of blogging things other than blog carnivals (weekly recurring posts). I love them, don't get me wrong, but I need some meat to my posts !

{four} what is your favorite part of your job?The people I work with...and the fact that I get to be around animals all day!

{six} have you ever been mentioned in the newspaper?When we got married we had a wedding announcement in the paper.

{eight} do you have freckles?Sure do. And they come out more in the summertime.

{ten} when was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper?It's been a long time...
