Miscellany Monday!

 So I decided to start participating in another blog carnival called Miscellany Monday by Carissa over at lowercase letters! The idea is to grab the button, write random, and link up over at Carissa's! I may or may not be able to do this weekly, but I sure will try...and I hope you try it too! :)

1. We moved in! Yep. I know I said that in my last post...but I can't help but say it again! I can't believe we are actually IN our home now. It's surreal. It's weird. It's awesome. All at the same time! It doesn't make sense...and I don't think it's really hit me yet. We started moving things after I got off work on Friday evening at 6:00, and we were able to get all of the furniture over that night, which was a great feeling. We had several people helping us, to whom we are SO grateful! As people were bringing stuff over, I began putting things away, so there wasn't a ton of clutter. I. Hate. Clutter. Haha. So after a long night and some sweat, we had everything somewhat settled in...but we didn't sleep there because we didn't have the bed put together yet. But now, after a couple days, it looks awesome! I haven't hung all of my wall art/pictures yet, but it's coming along nicely. I don't know who of the people that helped us will read this, but seriously you guys...YOU ROCK! I will be adding pictures of the house in a couple days after I get everything settled. Oh, and our sweet friend Terri baked us this awesome apple pie! Go check out her blog...she is amazing, and has the cutest little man. :)

 2. I love Etsy. With a passion. Can't find the perfect pillow or curtains for your house? Etsy. Seriously...I had looked everywhere for pillows that would be perfect in my living room...and wasn't able to find anything remotely close to what I was looking for, so I decided to type throw pillows into Etsy, and what do you know? These amazing pillows flowed across my computer screen and screamed "Me me me!" Haha. I can't wait until they arrive! Also, notice the adorable orange/cream damask print curtain toppers. I. Love. Them. 

3. Cold water. For some reason in the master shower, we don't have hot water. So...we've gotta get that fixed haha. This morning I froze to death haha. Anyway...

 

4. Lilly is in shock. It's pitiful. I feel so bad for her, because she's so used to being in a house with her cousins (my parents 2 dogs Belle & Jade) and now she's alone. I think it's getting better though. Some of you might remember me say that we were going to adopt a 3 year old standard poodle when we moved into the house...but it didn't work out. I took him home for lunch one day and he growled and snapped at Lilly...and it scared me to death. I love him, but Lilly is our baby and nothing bad can happen to her, and it's just not worth the risk to me. Hopefully she will fully adjust soon!

 5. Cute stools. We purchased these adorable little bar stools yesterday from Target, and they couldn't be more perfect with our decor! And you aren't going to believe how much they were. $19.99 a piece. Can you believe that? Cheap. And we still have to get two more of them for the other side of the bar.
